FILON Finesse polycarbonate large area rooflight system

Introduction
The patented FILON Finesse system is the result of long experience in the field of translucent glazing of roofs and walls, as well as domed skylights. The range has been designed to provide a variety of rooflight configurations from a system of modular components, including aluminium profiles for frames, seals, opening windows and other accessories.

A simple, practical design
FILON Finesse multi-wall polycarbonate panels are hooked onto steel channels and firmly locked with special polycarbonate clip profiles, providing excellent characteristics for the creation of translucent surfaces for any kind of building. 

Extruded from high-grade clear or opal polycarbonate, the glazing panels provide good light transmission and thermal insulation.

Durability and long service life
Like all polycarbonate products, FILON Finesse rooflights offer extremely high resistance to impact damage. With an advanced UV resistant surface coating, weather resistance and long life span are guaranteed. 

The system combines high wind and snow loading capability, water tightness and stability of jointing, with lightness, easy assembly and the external appearance of a continuous surface. These properties make the system particularly well suited to glazing roofs and walls in industrial and commercial buildings and any other high specification applications.

Wide spans
FILON Finesse galvanized and plastic coated steel channels are designed toprovide very high rigidity. Consequently, the system can be used for unsupported spans of between 2 metres and up to a maximum of 8 metres.
