Filodomes - modular polycarbonate dome and pyramid rooflights
IntroductionFILON’s range of high quality Filodome modular rooflights are designed to maximise natural light in flat roofed structures. The rooflights are available as fixed or opening units and can be supplied complete with upstand or for fixing direct to a builders’ kerb.
Wide range of sizes and configurations
FILON Filodomes are available as single and double skin units for when Part L compliance is not required. Triple skin units are available for when it is.
Durable, non-fragile glazing
FILON Filodomes feature UV protected 3mm polycarbonate glazing, giving excellent light transmission with very high impact strength and high resistance to discolouration and degradation caused by weathering. Filodomes are classified as Class B Non-fragile.
Choice of upstands
Upstands are available in galvanised steel, aluminium, GRP and PVCu, in various heights to accommodate cut to fall insulation and below deck fixing.
Compliant thermal performance
FILON Filodomes meet the requirements of Part L of the Building Regulations or equivalent standards.
Ventilation and opening options
FILON Filodomes can be supplied as hinged opening units or with open/closed ventilated upstands. Access hatch rooflightsare also available.
Security options
For applications where security is paramount, Filodome SL security rooflights can be supplied, with optional high tensile steel burglar bars.
