Application Detail 32/1000 Profile Canopy Roofing

Filon Application Detail 32/1000 Profile is for a translucent GRP sheet with a 32mm deep and 1000mm width profile designed for commercial or domestic roofing canopy applications. The product's high specification ensures an extremely robust and shatter resistant roofing panel, with excellent fire retardent and light transmission qualities, and meeting all UK Building Regulation requirements.

The superior specification of the product makes it suitable for higher quality canopy applications providing covered walkways, canopies, and carports in such areas as shopping precincts, promenades, school play areas, railway stations, bus stations, garage forecourts, park amenities, etc., anywhere where there is a need to create shelter from the elements and still provide high values of natural daylight with no shadow or glare.

Produced in various weights of 1.83kg/m2, 2.44kg/m2, 3.06kg/m2 and Filon

Supasafe, to meet the needs of demanding applications.

Fire resistance tested in accordance with BS476, Parts 3 and 7, and available in AB

Class 3 and AA Class 1.

UV resistant coating applied to the weather face creates a tough durable surface

and helps prevent the sheet from yellowing over time.

High light transmission value of up to 90%.

Very robust and tough withstanding high winds and heavy hailstorms.

Maintenance free requiring occasional washing of the weather surface to maintain

high levels of light transmission.

Lasts in excess of 30 years maintenance free and will last significantly longer if

looked after.

Even though the product is more suited to commercial roofing projects it can be used for domestic applications where a higher specification roofing panel is required. Normally for domestic use we would recommend our Filon Supalite product.
