Double Skin GRP Flat Box Rooflights for Internal Linings

Filon Filites are specially designed factory assembled double skin GRP box rooflights for use in suspended ceiling and under purlin linings where high translucency and extra insulation are required below external rooflights. Manufactured from Filon GRP sheets, they offer exceptional strength and rigidity creating maximum bonding surfaces between upper and lower sheets.

The fundamental design of Filon Filite rooflights allows units to be supported by roof purlins or suspended "T" section ceiling systems.

The essential properties of Filon Filite GRP rooflights are :

Thermal Resistance (K) = 0.36m²K/W

Light Transmission (Percentage Natural Daylight) = 80% (direct photo-cell)

Fire Performance Rating = BS476 Part 7 Class 1 (Other ratings available)

Limitations : in buildings where high levels of humidity or aggressive

The product is available in standard widths of 900mm, 1000mm, and 1200mm and depths of 30mm and 40mm.
