Filon manufacture a comprehensive range of GRP double and triple skin factory assembled rooflights which comply with the new UK Building Regulations, offering designers, specifiers and architects diverse solutions for selecting the most suitable option to fulfil statutory insulation requirements, and also non-fragility conditions demanded by the Health and Safety Executive CDM requirements. The rooflights are primarily designed for use with composite panels, overpurlin lining systems, and for the replacement of north-lights and patent glazing.
Filon's unique manufacturing process can produce multi skin GRP rooflights to meet individual application needs and match most UK and European profiles. Available with outer sheet of heavier weights to provide non-fragility when new, with expected non-fragility for 25 years. Where specification stipulates the rooflights must be non-fragile for the life of the roof or be of optimum strength, then Filon Supasafe is used.
The range of multi skin GRP rooflights (FAIRS) can be divided into four main product groups :
Fire ratings for FAIRS are available to comply with the requirements of the new UK Building Regulations for fire
safety.
Please note longer length rooflights are available subject to order.
