Filon DR ReFurb is a Double Reinforced superior designed opaque profiled GRP panel as a Direct Replacement for old asbestos cement profiles which are no longer manufactured. With a significant number of buildings in the UK still roofed in fibre cement and the stringent regulations now applying to asbestos, Filon DR ReFurb is a very cost effective solution that will provide a very Durable Repair, giving another 30 year of maintenance free life to the roof.

Filon DR ReFurb GRP panel is extremely versatile, it can be used for carrying out repairs to asbestos cement roofs as a direct replacement or laid over existing damaged sheets. Alternatively it can be used for complete roof refurbishment. Available in translucent or opaque GRP it incorporates additional woven reinforcement creating an extremely strong composite panel along with exceptional flexibility for easy fixing into existing roofs.

Filon DR ReFurb is manufactured in all the old asbestos cement profiles of Cape Fort, Cape Monad, Doublesix, Doublesix M, Major Tile, Trafford Tiles, and others, in translucent or cement grey colour. Even Bigsix/StandardSix profile, which is still available in fibre cement, roofers prefer Filon DR ReFurb as a replacement due to its ease of handling and fixing to the old roof.

The product is manufactured in two fire retardant grades of AA Class 1 and AB Class 3, in accordance with BS476 Part 3 and Part 7 "Fire Tests". All sheets are treated on the weather face with a superior quality UV resistant film ensuring a service life in excess of 30 years.
