A new sports hall was to be built for the Millennium at Liverpool College.
The building was designed as a curved roof using standing seam metal roofing.
To provide good natural daylight in the playing area of the hall, Filon Monarch
GRP barrel lights were specified which are unique in their design.
Made in lengths up to 4.5m long, they can be laid to a curved roof down to a
radius of 25m yet still minimise the number of end laps and joints.
Filon Monarch barrel lights are the ideal product where standing seam systems
are employed.
