GRP Sheeting for Water Treatment and Effluent Processes

Filon Isofil is a scientifically formulated GRP panel for use in water treatment plants. Using Norpol 720/700 Isophthalic resin and reinforced with E-glass fibres, sheets are unaffected by constant immersion in water at temperatures of -30⁰C to 50⁰C, with the potential to meet higher operational temperatures. The heat deformation temperatures of Isophthalic resins are significantly higher than conventional Orthophthalic resins normally used in GRP products. For temperatures above 50⁰C and/or harsh chemical environments, a vinyl ester formulation is available.

Filon Isofil unique GRP features are suitable for use in oil/water separators, micro flotation processes, crossflow separators, biological waste processing, refinery effluent and other similar applications. Using a technique of gravity separation the natural profile corrugations) of Filon Isofil enables efficient separation of materials and is ideally suited to this task. The product has also been approved by Lloyds Register of Shipping for use in marine applications.

Supplied in natural translucent profiled GRP panels having a minimum thickness of 1.2mm, and available in 1200mm wide flat panels and two profiles, 146/48 crown/depth profile and 177/51 crown/depth profile. Lengths can be produced to meet individual requirements up to 3m. Where extra strength is required Filon Isofil sheeting is available in Filon Supasafe form.
