Filon Products is a leading UK manufacturer of high quality translucent glass reinforced polyester (GRP) sheeting, used by the roofing and cladding industry for rooflights to provide essential natural daylight into large buildings. The company is continually developing into new areas and now supplies products to a wide range of markets including, opaque roofing sheets, plate for signs, hygienic cladding and building refurbishment products. This wide range offers diverse solutions to designers, architects and specifiers to meet customer demands in alternative markets.
GRP flat sheets are manufactured for many varied applications, exploiting the broad range of material advantages inherent in GRP. Special surface protection coatings enhance GRP’s natural resistance to harsh weather, chemical and marine environments, creating lasting solutions where other materials would quickly corrode.
The company is a member of the Metal Cladding and Roofing Manufacturers Association (MCRMA), the National Association of Rooflight Manufacturers (NARM) and the National Federation of Roofing Contractors (NFRC).
