Fixsafe – Safety Fixing System

The Filon Fixsafe safety fixing system has been developed to address this problem, to safely replace GRP roof sheets and rooflights from inside a building, avoiding the need to access the roof from above.

A COMPLETE SYSTEM

The Fixsafe system comprises a translucent or opaque Filon DR24 sheets to match all popular asbestos and fibre cement profiles, together with patented Fixsafe fasteners, sealants and other accessories to allow the installation to be carried out from below. The system can be supplied to suit all common purlin types whether they are cold rolled Z or C sections, hot rolled angles, I beams, timber, concrete or tubular. No further materials are required to complete the installation, it’s all in the kit.

CHOOSING THE BEST ROOFLIGHT SPECIFICATION

Although originally designed for use in single skin asbestos cement profiled sheet roofs, the system has developed and can be adapted for use with metal roof sheet systems and some twin skin assemblies.
