An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sales Office Administrator to join our Company on a permanent basis.

(37 hours per week – 8.45am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 8.45am to 4.30pm Friday)

What you’ll do

The Sales Office Administrator will contribute to the overall efficient company operations by delivering pro-active sales administration support and customer care. You will provide a sales service that processes enquiries, orders and delivers excellent customer service.

Working within a team and in conjunction with other departments of the business, you will carry out functions as directed by the Sales Office Manager to ensure that you contribute to departmental output that meets the demands of the customer both internally and externally

Key capabilities to include

  • Receive orders from customers and ensure they are processed promptly and accurately
  • Receive written and verbal enquiries, calculate prices, process and send quotes back to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Provide customer service and ensure enquiries from customers and potential customers, are dealt with in an efficient and prompt manner.
  • Process orders through the SOP system in an efficient and prompt manner, ensuring customers are informed of receipt, delivery dates etc.
  • Liaise with internal departments regarding customer inquiries in respect of stock/production/delivery times, technical information, account queries, etc
  • Undertake all admin duties, filing etc. related to customer orders.
  • Deal with customer complaints in an efficient manner and in accordance with internal Quality procedures.
  • Take an active role in adhering to the Company Health and Safety Policy
  • Undertake any other relevant duties as required by the Department Supervisor and/or Departmental Managers

What you’ll get

Salary: £22,126.00 p.a.
